Saw your icon on someone's journal, had a peek at your info and...oh man. Snow Patrol, and you go to shows in Glasgow. Are you by any chance going to the Patrol show in Glasgow 16/12?

Hey, unfortunately I'm not going to see them on that day. I went to see them play Meadowbank Stadium in Edinburgh in August. They were great but the crowd was awful and I ended up missing the last quarter of their set because I had to get pulled out of the crowd because my daughter was hurt and I went to the first aid tent with her.

I would have got tickets to see them again in December but they're playing the day after I go to see Iron Maiden and I probably wouldn't be in a fit state to recover enough for it! But they'll play again and I'll definitely be going to see them next time!

Did you get to see them when they were playing in the US?

I did, yeah, in Philadelphia. Best show I've ever been to. The following weekend, I up and bought a single seated (read: crappy) ticket for the show at the SECC in Glasgow.

The SECC isn't that big and even though you have a seat ticket, you should still get a good view of the stage and the guys. I would have been content with seat tickets myself, if I'd actually got my arse in gear after the Edinburgh fiasco, but unfortunately they where sold out by the time I decided to try and get some.

I actually have seat tickets for Kasabian at the SECC on the 7th December. What block and row are you sitting? I could let you know what the view is like after I've been, that way you know what to sort of expect viewing wise.

Doesn't Chasing Cars kick ass live? Did Gary have his dad at the show? At Edinburgh, his dad was at the side of the stage and he dedicated the song to him. It was so sweet!

I don't reckon he had his dad with him. He didn't mention it, if he did, and ... it's a bit far to have dragged him.

Chasing Cars was an awesome song before it became sort of cliched, thanks to Grey's Anatomy. I could've done without half of the venue screaming like fangirls (and they were all girl screams) when the intro began. Anything that'll get the Patrol fans is great, but part of me - the part that's been a fan for several years - was a bit elitist, I'll admit.
